Download the extension ZIP from the Download page and extract it. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted folder that directly contains manifest.json. SAL9000 currently uses this manual installation flow.

SAL9000 requires Chrome 116 or newer. Update Chrome before installation, then pin the extension from the puzzle-piece menu so it is easy to open before an interview.

Open SAL9000 and choose Sign in with Google. Complete the Google account flow, then return to the extension. If the session has expired, signing in again creates a fresh authenticated session.

Add your resume and the job description, choose three proof points you want the interviewer to remember, confirm your subscription is active, and test audio sharing before the call starts.

SAL9000 captures the shared interview audio, transcribes the conversation in short segments, identifies questions, and generates structured suggestions using your saved context. Treat suggestions as cues, then answer naturally in your own words.

When Chrome asks what to share, choose the interview tab or supported screen source and enable Share audio. If no audio track is shared, SAL9000 cannot transcribe the interviewer.

Yes. When microphone access is granted, SAL9000 can keep your speech separate from the shared interviewer audio. Allow microphone access only when you want your side of the conversation included.

Glance at the structure, understand the next point, and look back at the interviewer. Do not read answers word-for-word. Follow the interviewer's AI policy and prioritize presence, judgment, and your authentic experience.

The resume tells SAL9000 what experience and outcomes you can credibly discuss. The job description identifies the role's priorities. Together they make suggestions more specific and relevant.

The extension can extract text from common document formats, including PDF and Word documents. Use a text-based file rather than a scanned image for the most reliable parsing.

Confirm that the resume and job description contain readable text, add measurable outcomes to your resume, and make the target role clear. More precise source material produces more useful guidance.

Protected AI features require an active SAL9000 subscription. Sign in to the website, open your dashboard, and confirm the subscription status. If payment was just completed, refresh after activation has been processed.

Sign in on the website and open the Dashboard. It shows your profile, current plan, usage snapshot, and recent billing activity in one place.

SAL9000 stops authenticated requests and asks you to sign in again. Re-authenticate with Google; your stored account and subscription remain associated with the same account.

Stop the session and start again. In Chrome's share dialog, choose the interview tab or screen and make sure Share audio is enabled before confirming. Also verify that the meeting is producing audible sound.

First check the public Status page. If the platform is operational, reopen the side panel, verify you are signed in, and start a fresh session. Persistent connection failures may require reinstalling the current extension package.

Wait for the current transcription segment to finish, then confirm the statement was phrased as a clear question. SAL9000 uses question detection to avoid generating answers for every line of conversation.

Try a text-based PDF or DOCX file with selectable text. Scanned pages, password-protected files, and heavily graphical layouts may not extract reliably. You can also simplify the file and upload it again.
